Senator Lindsey Graham Suspends his Campaign, Withdraws his Name from South Carolina Presidential Primary

On December 21, Senator Lindsey Graham said he is “suspending” his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. December 21 is the deadline for a candidate in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary to withdraw his or her name from the ballot, and Graham has withdrawn from that primary today. Earlier Governor Bobby Jindal had also withdrawn from the South Carolina presidential primary. But 13 names remain on the South Carolina Republican ballot.
