Several news stories on February 8 report that Michael Bloomberg himself recently said publicly that he is thinking of being an independent presidential candidate in 2016. So far the primary season, majority party-wise, has been interesting. And with the Libertarians and Greens in competitive primaries it has been very interesting.
If Bloomberg entered the race as an independent it would be enthralling. And I think he will at least announce such a move to test polling support along with the associated media exposure.
