Constitution Party is Now Ballot-Qualified in South Dakota

The Constitution Party’s petition for party status in South Dakota has been approved by the Secretary of State. The party is now on the ballot for president in 17 states. Four years ago at this time, it was on in 14 states.

  1. The Constitution Party hasn’t submitted a petition in New Jersey yet. Until the state says the group is on, it isn’t “on.” It is true the New Jersey petition has been circulated, and the party believes it has enough valid signatures.

  2. A big CONGRATULATIONS to the citizens who worked hard to hurdle the obstacle of ballot access. Richard, what are the criteria to be met in order for a party to stay on the ballot?
