Rare Wyoming Presidential Poll

Wyoming is so safely Republican, it is rare for anyone to spend money polling there. But the University of Wyoming’s Survey and Analysis Center did a poll October 5-11, and only on October 27 released the results, which were: Donald Trump 58%; Hillary Clinton 20%; Gary Johnson 9%; Jill Stein 2%; another candidate (which had to be volunteered by the respondent) 2%; won’t vote 1%; undecided 7%; refused to answer 1%. Also on the ballot are Darrell Castle and Rocky De La Fuente, but they were not mentioned by the pollsters.

The Survey also asked about the U.S. House race, but only mentioned the Republican and Democratic nominees. There are also Libertarian and Constitution Party nominees on the ballot.

Rare Wyoming Presidential Poll — 9 Comments

  1. Many of the LOW population Western States were created during/after Civil WAR I to have nonstop Elephant control of the USA Senate for a LONG time.

CA = WY — only in the ANTI-Democracy delusional minds of AREA fanatics.

Abolish the USA Senate or have Democracy elections for it — i.e. At least 100 Senators elected via P.R.

  2. @ DemoRep

The equal Senate vote per state cannot be amended without the 100% consent of EVERY state (all 50 of them). It is the most difficult, if not impossible, feature of the Constitution to amend.

Your only hope to change the population imbalance in the Senate is to combine sparely populated states, like North and South Dakota, and divide highly populated states into new states, like California and Texas.

  3. Dear Wyoming Friends,

You are one of the luckiest states that can write in the most beloved politician in America. Write in Bernie Sanders for President! Vote from your heart for the People’s President! It will be counted.

  4. Richard, since the whole topic of write ins came up, I have read that Bernie Sanders is expected to get a large number of write ins in Vermont where they will be counted. What would happen if he somehow won the state? Obviously he has not picked a slate of electors on his behalf so if he won the state will there simply be no electors from Vermont present to vote at the final tally? Thanks for any information you can give.

  5. I assume that if Bernie Sanders got more write-ins in Vermont than any other presidential candidate, the Secretary of State would let him appoint three presidential electors for the state. And I assume he would choose the same three individuals whom the Democratic Party of Vermont had chosen. And they would probably then for in the Electoral College for Hillary Clinton.

  6. W.Z. — the 1777 Articles of Confederation were dumped quite ILLEGALLY by the conspiracy folks at the 1787 top secret Federal Convention — i.e. the A.C. required ALL of the States to agree to any amendment — obviously FATAL.

I.E. INTOLERABLE stuff sooner or later reaches a CRISIS point — as it did in 1781-1787.

The U.S.A. has been in a *modern* nonstop crisis since the JFK regime in 1961 — due to the time bomb effects of the various gerrymander systems — esp. the USA Senate.

LAWS are for humans and NOT rocks in the Rocky Mountains.

    P.R. and nonpartisan App.V.

  7. @DemoRep:

Do you think people are ready to dump the Constitution wholesale? People have been trying for years to get an open convention. I still say it’s easier to change the size of the states. In fact, there have been movements to divide California into more states.
