New Nebraska Voter Registration Tally

On November 1, Nebraska’s Secretary of State released new registration data. The percentages: Republican 48.10%; Democratic 30.59%; Libertarian .91%; independent 20.40%. No one is registered into any unqualified party in Nebraska. The form does not have a blank line in the section that asks about political party choice. When a party goes off the ballot in Nebraska, all its members are converted to independents, whether they desire this or not.

In February 2016 the percentages were: Republican 48.41%; Democratic 30.45%; Libertarian .61%; independent 20.53%.

  1. How many of those people will stay home on Election day.Nobody talks about the non voters.
