VoteCastr will attempt to tell the world what the vote for president is, in eight swing states, starting at 11 a.m. eastern time on election day. VoteCastr does this by first obtaining the names of voters who voted early, and then by using exit pollsters in seven of those states (but not in Colorado, where the vast majority of votes are cast by mail). Here’s an idea. Why not wait until all the votes are counted, then declare a winner?
I like what VoteCastr is trying to do. If people who are worried about “spoiling”, they can wait until election day afternoon or evening and then vote happily, if the information on who is going to win is already known.
Alaskans and Hawaiians have always had this luxury, ever since they have been states.
On going destruction of SECRET ballots for fun and games or what ???
How about ONE year terms (at most) for the various MONSTERS in the Fed, State and local regimes ???
i.e. NONSTOP election campaigning — to get SOME discussion about nice and happy TAX parasites (who pay NO NET taxes — lots of govt officers, employees, govt contractors and welfare folks ) and the more and more TAX slaves (who pay NET taxes — to the TAX parasites).
The CRISIS in USA history is NOW — which has deja vu all over again happened in all sorts of blown up regimes in the past.

Demo Rep- One year terms is probably the worst thing imaginable. If everyone is out constantly campaigning, then no one is in Washington voting on bills.

I always wondered if a retard with barely functioning motor skills and internet access, randomly pressing keys and pushing buttons, could potentially do so in such an unlikely, random order that it would result in them accidentally accessing a website and managing to post comments. This is actually the same thing that news organizations were chastised for doing years ago when they would call a state for a certain candidate before the polls in that state closed. In essence, they were accused of influencing the election. They now wait until after the states polls close before they call the race in that state.
I think any organization that does something that could influence the vote like that is wrong. For all we know, their exit polling is flawed or inaccurate and they are reporting erroneous information. Until the vote is actually counted, nobody knows who is really ahead.
In addition, it could also adversely effect the down ticket. If people hear their candidate is losing, they may fail to show up at the polls, causing the remainder of the vote for the other offices that need to be filled to be skewed.
Change the two 4 year terms to one 8 year term. That way they will not be campaigning for the second term as soon as they get elected.

History note – several of the early State regimes after 1776 had 6 month terms for State legislators —
i.e. May and November elections.
Now there are more and more 4 year terms for both State Reps and State Senators — i.e. public be damned — total control by special interest gangs.
