Nine Democratic presidential electors, and one Republican presidential elector, have signed a letter to the Director of National Intelligence, asking for a briefing before the electoral college meets on December 19. Richard – please stop re-distribution of stories that double down on obviously fake news stories. The “Russia altered the election” meme is reminiscent of Joseph Goebbels: our finest CIA propagandists doing what they do best – shill for the deep state.
The real news here is not about Russia, but about the fact that this many presidential electors are involved in the movement to find a new presidential candidate to vote for.
I don’t buy the CIA’s garbage either, Don, but this site posts election news and, lies or not, these electors did request a briefing (from the CIA, who fix elections across the globe and are paid liars), so it’s worthy of a post.
Electors are to Ballot Access News as Kardashians are to TMZ, virtually anything they do is to be covered, at least from Nov. 8th through Dec. 19th.
Russia did alter the election results, and hopefully enough electors will realize it in time and stop the foreign totalitarian takeover of the US by the Putin-Trump cabal. Trump is a foreign agent and it is imperative that he be prevented from assuming power through foreign election interference, psyops and black box electronic vote hacking.

And FWIW, note that 9 of the 10 electors who want the briefing are Hillary electors. What possible use could they make with such classified information? Not vote for Hillary? The entirety of this story is a hoax. Even the FBI agrees.

They’re the only intelligence agency that disagrees with the widespread consensus of all the others. FBI’s Comey is quite likely a part of the cabal, and had a lot to do with the plot to steal/manipulate the election on behalf of Trump, Putin and a cabal of racists, generals and billionaires. It’s reminiscent of the collapse of Weimar Germany into the Nazi third reich under Trump’s idol Adolf Hitler, with the Republican Party playing the role of Hindenburg.
One more reason to abolish the MORONIC Electoral College from the late DARK AGE of monarchs and oligarchs.

I’m all for “faithless” electors voting their conscience and having the freedom to do so. I’d laugh my ass off in the unlikely event they muster enough to keep Trump below 270.
Having a federal agency— the foreign intelligence agency, no less— give them a “briefing” with the intention to influence their vote is beyond the pale. It’s hard to imagine something more wildly improper and illegal; and it’s stunning that Podesta actually joined the call for it. This is like a comic-book-villain proposal. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if Hillary had 306 pledged EVs and Trump tried to insist the FBI should “brief” electors on the Clinton Foundation’s donations from foreign governments?
Let the electors vote how they will. Enlisting a federal agency to try to sway them is crazy.
