U.S. Supreme Court Hears Ohio Case on Purging Voters from the Rolls

On January 10, the U.S. Supreme Court heard Husted v A. Philip Randolph Institute, 16-980. The issue is whether Ohio is breaking the federal law by the way in which it removes voters from the rolls.   1. The federal government should issue federal ID’s and require that state’s use them for federal elections. The federal government would inform the state whenever an adult changed their address.
