This Gotham Gazette article on the 2018 New York gubernatorial race discusses each of the state’s ballot-qualified minor parties.
Political parties are dysfunctional and foul because of plurality psychology.
For example, the SF Libertarian Party has helped cement a largely racist and sexist one-party system of RCV in the city of SF and more, they happily take credit and the SF Libertarian Party has viciously fought PPR for more than twenty-three consecutive years while snuffing out new names and new ideas.
They love the one party system in SF.
Even when winning 52.7% in the only state primary, the Libertarian Party bosses blocked and censored newcomers.
Political Parties are built to be biased. Forget about trying to coordinate a unifying voting system because political parties will take what they can, while delaying and thwarting democratic principles aand they enjoy kicking anyone in the balls, especially our fairer gender.
The concept of teamwork and fairness in not part of political parties using plurality elections.
The United Coalition has been uniting under PPR for more than twenty-three consecutive years and PPR works fine.
