Ontario held an election for its provincial legislature on June 7. The results: Progressive Conservative 76 seats, New Democrat 40 seats, Liberal 7 seats, Green Party one seat. This is the first time the Green Party has elected a provincial legislator in Ontario. Here is the wikipedia page about the election.

Gerrymander / plurality ROT in Canada is much more dangerous due to multiple larger gangs —
PC, Lib, NDP, PQ (Quebec).
Just to add to this, to be a “recognized party” in the Ontario Legislative Assembly, a status that comes with funding for offices and staff, plus guaranteed time during debates, a party currently needs 8 seats. This means the Liberals have gone from ruling party to unrecognized party.
It is possible that the Progressive Conservatives might take pity on them and lower the bar for being recognized (which varies from province to province) but about 15 years ago when the PCs fell on hard times the Liberals held them over a barrel. So the might not.
