Democratic Party Sets Rules for First Primary Season Presidential Debate

The Democratic Party will hold its first presidential debate sometime in June 2019. The city and exact date haven’t been chosen. Candidates qualify by either being at 1% in three national polls, or receiving donations from 65,000 people, with the further requirement of 200 donors in each of 20 states.

In case more than 20 candidates meet these requirements, then an adjustment will be made to limit the debate to 20 candidates. That is such a large number of candidates, the first debate will be a two-day affair. Thanks to Political Wire for this news.

  1. Hoards of RED communist Donkeys ???

    — each claiming to be the perfect RED communist

    — much better than the RED communist Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, etc. ??? DUH.

How many humans killed/enslaved by all RED communists ???

  2. MV – a lover of RED communist Donkey Prez candidates ???

Super-easy to be a RED communist Donkey with the assets and incomes of OTHER folks.

How many morons brainwashed by the EVIL DECEPTIVE blue color given to RED communist Donkeys — since circa 1992 ???

  3. 2 days = 48 hours or 2h24m per candidate. So let each candidate buzz in and debate for up to 5 minutes. Each candidate may take a recess for 12 hours each day, for sleep, meals, etc.

  4. How about each HACK post its top 10 control freak schemes on the national Donkey website

    — with LIE detector test results ???

Let mere ordinary voters do Condorcet Math on each Hack — aka RANK the HACKS !!!

  5. Demo rap needs to be brain dried. Democrats leadership is not even liberal much less communist. They are essentially run by the same wall street and megacorp interests as the republicans with very tiny difference and substantial overlap in donors. Any rhetoric to the contrary being mere sleight of hand for the blue collar, female and minority voting base they hoodwink all the time into voting for them. Demo rap take your brain immediately to the laundromat where it was washed and put it the dryer, it is starting to mold and emit a distinct odor. Don’t be so stingy on the quarters for the dryer this time.

  6. Too many political morons on this list who never have been in a closed door meeting of the top RED Donkeys

    — when they start raving at each other with their cliche RED communist comments

    — esp RED communist Donkey Prez candidates

    — like a Lenin meeting in 1917 with his top stooge killers – Trotsky, Stalin, etc.

  7. Hey, Demo Rep? Actually, the Stalinist NKVD copied ideas from far right-winger J. Edgar Hoover, most certainly NOT a Democrap. Put a sock in it, m’kay?

  8. I understand the requirement to be 65,000 individual donations, rather than $65,000 raised. Seems like every other news outlet is reporting this 65,000 number to mean something different (dollars, donations, or donors).

  9. I can’t find an official press release, just *might* be copies of the press release. But what it says is:

Democratic candidates may qualify for the first and second debate by meeting one of the two following sets of criteria:

    • Polling Method: Register 1% or more support in three polls (which may be national polls, or polls in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and/or Nevada) publicly released between January 1, 2019, and 14 days prior to the date of the Organization Debate. Qualifying polls will be limited to those sponsored by one or more of the following organizations/institutions:Associated Press, ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Des Moines Register, Fox News, Las Vegas Review Journal, Monmouth University, NBC News, New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), Quinnipiac University, Reuters, University of New Hampshire, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, Winthrop University. Any candidate’s three qualifying polls must be conducted by different organizations, or if by the same organization, must be in different geographical areas.

    • Grassroots Fundraising Method. Candidates may qualify for the debate by demonstrating that the campaign has received donations from at least (1) 65,000 unique donors; and (2) a minimum of 200 unique donors per state in at least 20 U.S. states. To demonstrate that the fundraising threshold has been reached, candidates must provide verifiable evidence, which they may do by authorizing ActBlue and/or NGP VAN to provide that evidence.

    • If more than 20 candidates qualify for the debate, the top 20 candidates will be selected using a methodology that gives primacy to candidates meeting both thresholds, followed by the highest polling average, followed by the most unique donors.

  10. Cheka – FBI – NKVD – Gestapo – CIA – etc. — all the same stuff

    — defend statist tyrant regimes in foreign wars and domestic oppressions.
