Vermont requires presidential primary candidates to submit a petition of 1,000 signatures. The deadline is not until December 15, 2019. So far, three presidential primary candidate petitions have been checked: in the Republican primary, President Trump and Rocky De La Fuente; in the Democratic primary, Bernie Sanders. See the list here.
Does ONLY the BAN database have up-to-second ballot access requirements for all States/DC/colonies ???
Should charge Donkeys/Elephants/Others BIG $$$ for info.
Who’s that person living in the White House in Deceit City ???
Any idea how many candidates are petitioning?
Which parties get a Presidential Primary in VT?
I am pretty sure it is only the D’s and the R’s who get a primary in Vermont.
The Progressive Party could have its own presidential primary in Vermont if it wanted one, but it never wants one.
What about the first of my questions: any idea how many candidates are petitioning? I’m assuming Weld, Stanford & Walsh for the GOP, I doubt Augustus is petitioning.
I’ll also assume most, if not all, of the 15+ candidates (who have been in a debate and are still running for the Democratic Party nomination) will try to get on.
