Los Angeles Times Recommends that California Election Officials Mail Presidential Primary Ballots for Three Different Parties

This Los Angeles Times editorial expresses concern that many independent voters who vote by mail won’t understand that they won’t be able to vote for president in the upcoming presidential primary. The editorial says that California ought to follow Colorado’s example. Colorado voters generally vote by mail. Election officials send independent voters a primary ballot for every party that has a primary and which allows independents to vote in their primaries. Of course they are told to only use one ballot.

If California followed this idea, independent voters who vote by mail would receive Democratic, Libertarian, and American Independent presidential primary ballots.

  1. Since when do RED Donkey Communists now in CONTROL of the CA soviet socialist republic [aka CASSOR] give a damn about ANY other parties ??? — except to gerrymander them to extinction.

A mere 50 of 50 States to be liberated via

    PR
    Appv
    TOTSOP

CA – 1 of 18 States with voter pets for state const amdts — now under attack by ALL incumbent gerrymander oligarchs – communist and fascist.

  2. Maybe voters don’t want political parties to be hitting them up for contributions?

The simpler non-governmental solution would be for the LA Times to explain to its readers how to request a partisan ballot. Doesn’t everyone in LA read the paper?

If they passed out all four ballots, some voters would return all four.

  3. Olde style primary States with NO party registrations [aka open primary States] give out ONE ballot with ALL parties on it.

Vote ONLY for any ONE party’s candidates.

CA – vote ONLY in THE party primary in which one is registered –
would be marked on ballot before voting it.

Some moron voters will screw up ANY ballot given them.

  4. In this digital age, voters ought to be able to download official ballots, and mail them in, or bring them to the polling place. There ought to be a fast lane for voters with pre-marked, pre-printed ballots.

  5. The SECRET ballot language in the 1963 Mich Const is being SUBVERTED in the Mar 10, 2020 Mich Prez primary.

II-4 (1)(a) [added 2018) *** a secret ballot in all elections***, (2) [orig 1963] ***legislature shall enact laws *** to preserve the secrecy of the ballot***.

A voter MUST indicate which Prez party primary he/she is voting in — before getting a Prez primary ballot.
MCL 168.615c — added 2012 [Prez primary stuff added to Mich election law].

    GIANT PURGE list.

Moron media and usual civil rights suspects have been informed.

  6. In California you can bring your absentee ballot and turn it in without waiting in line.
