American Shopping Party? that’s new to me. There isn’t even a Wikipedia entry.
They are the west coast affiliate of New York’s The Rent Is Too Damn High party.
Aloha Aina and American Shopping Party are two of the goofiest names I have ever heard of for political parties, and I have heard some goofy ones over the years, such as the Blue Enigma Party.
Remember the Cool Moose Party in Rhode Island?
Cool Moose is at least a cool name. Those other names are just stupid.
The Aloha Aina Party has been around for a while, but this is the first time they’ve been politically active. I believe they used to be secessionist in nature.
I never heard of them, and I am one of the few people who follows this stuff.
Remember the 12 Visions Party? That was another weird one.
There was once a Pansexual Peace Party. I remember that their motto was: “Sex is good. Sex is great. Yeah sex.”
How many come and gone parties in the USA since 1776 ???
— or even on Mother Earth since Adam and Eve ???
some/many being gone the very hard way – WARS/revolutions.
Apparently the correct spelling of the party is the Aloha ʻĀina Party, which means something like “love the land.” Without the diacritics, it would mean something different.
