OK. But more importantly, who will Jesse Ventura select as his running mate? Unfortunately Playboy Buddy Rose and Adrian Adonis have both passed on. Hmmmm…
Ventura is not running. Walker is a solid choice.
If Howie wins the GP nom, will he still run as the Socialist Party USA nominee as well? Guessing Angela would be his running mate on that ticket (none named as yet) since she was Mimi’s running mate in ’16. The GP and SPUSA were both on the ballot in Colorado in Michigan, but with different candidates. Richard, do you know if those state’s election codes allow dual candidates?
The Socialist Party is not ballot-qualified in any state. It is true that in 2016 the Socialist slate was on in Michigan, but that was only because the ballot-qualified Natural Law Party nominated them. The Natural Law Party of Michigan never nominates anyone who is already the nominee of some other party that is also ballot-qualified in Michigan. The Natural Law Party of Michigan is most likely to be looking at nominating the Alliance Party nominees, Rocky De La Fuente and Darcy Richardson. But that is just a guess.
Well, that just about does it for PLAS for 2020.
Hawkins is evidently clueless.
As Nader was when he selected Matt Gonzalez in 2008.
Not only should the p nominee be a progressive preferably a man, the vp should be a libertarian, preferably woman.
AND in order to win, be on most if not all ballots.
AND RUN A PLAS campaign i.e. educate the voters about PLAS, strategic voting of all leftists and all libertarian minded. The COMBINATION of that vote should be a bout 40%.
The only hope I see now is a Hail Mary pass at the convention. Online.
Where the delegates DEMAND the GP adopt PLAS and nominate a PLAS willing to try fusion ticket.
How can Hawkins run a PLAS campaign if he is clueless?
Further, Darcy should announce support for PLAS.
AND announce his candidacy for the GP nomination.
If he were to do so, others might be encouraged to do. Putting more pressure on the GP to adopt PLAS.
Darcy should select Jo Jorgensen for vp. Or Tom or his wife Tamara Knapp. Possible fusion tickets.
Richard, it is not too late for you to announce support for PLAS.
Howie Hawkins is in the right position, but just made a colossal blunder. Choosing a fellow leftist rather than a libertarian. But OTOH, he got the gender (F) correct. And the Southern part also-Southerner balancing his northerner.

Tom Knapp just announced for vp Libertarian party. So he is correctly placed.

If Ventura seeks the GP nomination, I think he wins it. Hell, he could have it in the bag if he made Hawkins VP (although he may not have to do that if he thinks he can get a bigger name).
I don’t see the upside of this pick for Hawkins. Granted I don’t know a ton about internal GP politics, but it would seem like the better play would be to pick a Green Party stalwart with support within the party.
Are Green Party delegates pledged/bound to candidates? I heard something that made it sound like Howie Hawkins already has, bor is close to having, the Green Party’s presidential nomination wrapped up.
