Seven Presidential Petitions Succeed in New Jersey

Here is the list of presidential candidates who will be on the ballot in New Jersey (not including the Democratic and Republican nominees): the nominees of the Alliance, Constitution, Green, Libertarian, Socialism & Liberation, and Unity Parties, and independent Kanye West. New Jersey requires 800 signatures, due on July 27. The state has already checked these petitions. Thanks to Thomas Jones for this news.

  1. How will the Unity Party differentiate itself from the Alliance Party? They are stronger than expected.

The American Solidarity Party made it over halfway with our petition for Brian Carroll and Amar Patel. Some people see parallels between us and Kanye West, but most of our New Jersey supporters will write in Brian.

  2. I was a little surprised to see that the American Solidarity Party didn’t make the threshhold, especially since you ran a state assembly candidate in NJ a few years ago.

  3. Again no sign of billionaire (or multi millionaire) candidate Brock Pierce. He seems to be just there for the show. Yes there are other independent candidates on hand but Brock should have funds to spend. He has done quite a few campaign ads so it is not as if he is not spending any funds.

  4. The NJ document says “Kayne” rather than “Kanye”. Is that how he will appear on the ballot?

  5. I’m surprised Brian Carroll didn’t get on NJ. I really think the ASP is gonna become a “major” minor party. We’ll see if they get some “high” profile endorsements like they did last time. IE Danial Larison at amconmag.
