Tennessee Secretary of State Adds Don Blankenship to the List of Presidential Candidates — 10 Comments

  1. Jeff, Floyd, Cody – This won’t be the last surprise and you’ll soon be proven wrong about some of your other comments concerning the CP and the Blankenship campaign.

Why are you compelled to permit the CP and its activities to occupy such a large portion of your time … nothing better to do? How sad!

  2. It still looks like Blankenship will be in 5th place in terms of ballot access for “3rd” parties:
    1. Libertarian 538 EC votes
    2. Green ~392 EC votes
    3. Gloria La Riva ~191 EC votes
    4. Rocky De La Fuente ~184 EC votes
    5. Blankenship ~154 EC votes
    6. Brock Pierce ~101 EC votes
    7. Kanye West ~70 EC votes

and yes I know this is from wikipedia and not an authoritative source (which is why I used the ~ symbol) but they should be at least pretty close. For example they don’t have Blankenship down for TN yet but still has NM listed as being on the ballot but the New Mexico CP nominated someone else

  4. I like Rocky de la Fuente and happy he is chosen for 2020 but perhaps for the next presidential elections, the Alliance Party and Reform party could choose a candidate like Mark Cuban. He is centrist and on his own he can get ballot access to many states. There is bound to be a name recognition centrist billionaire candidate who will run in 2024 like Brock Pierce in 2020.

  5. @Andrew: Actually the national CP “occupies” very little of my time…but I am glad that you and the national CP are so interested in metering my time for me. Hypocrite much?

Look, BAN itself is a political interest forum, ranging from lawsuits to state specific items. Surely you don’t suggest censorship of discussion. Or do you?

As to your statement: “you’ll soon be proven wrong about some of your other comments”. What comments might those be? I have engaged in discussion with Mr. Becker, whom I consider a friend of many years standing, on mathematical vote estimate models…legitimate political interests.

But, you (inclusive of the secret clique national CP) apparently seek to bury open and honest discussion. Can’t be having no free exchange of ideas. No sir. You’ve got Kool-Aid to peddle. Welcome to Jonestown.

Incidentally, others hereon (see Lyon’s comments immediately above) continue to make legitimate comments regarding “issues” with national CP ballot access (or relative lack thereof). So, just “Pay no interest to the man behind the curtain!…is that it, Oz?

  6. @Lyon:

“For example they don’t have Blankenship down for TN yet but still has NM listed as being on the ballot but the New Mexico CP nominated someone else”

Yeah, routine that. If past is prologue, NM will remain (ditto SC, MS and WA) on their website until after the midterms in 2022. Welcome to the Hotel National CP…”We are all just prisoners here, of our own device”
