Texas Representative Phil King (R-Weatherford) has introduced HB 1848, which would change the date of the 2022 primary, in case census data needed for redistricting is too late for the state to hold its normal March primary.
The bill lets the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and House Speaker jointly set the date. They could choose a primary date as late as July 1, 2022.
Moving the 2022 primary to a later date would have big consequences for ballot access petitioning in 2022. Petitions for independent candidates and new parties can’t begin until after the primary.

Parker is name of the county. Weatherford is the name of the city. I lived there from 1978 to 2000.

Checking Facts: Those who believe Satan is real are not Satanists, they are Christian heretics. They accept the Christian world view and have chosen the other guy. Satanism began with Anton LaVey when he started the Church of Satan in 1966. Any group other than the Church of Satan founded by Anton LaVey are not Satanists.
Lil Nas X is using the popular iconography of Satanism as a marketing tool for his music instead of actually being a Satanist. It is similar to the Heavy Metal groups like Black Sabbath or Slayer. Satan is used by them as a way to sell records and has no other meaning for them.
He’s selling shoes that have actual human blood in them. Is there any ritual in Satanism that involves human blood?

Most metal bands using satanic iconography aren’t serious, and lil nas x is probably not either, but King Diamond of Mercyful Fate and some Scandinavian black metal bands are/were serious about satanism.
