  1. How would you solve the problem? The U.S. has signed several treaties in which we promise to treat all our adult citizens equally, in regard to voting rights. Treaties are supposed to be the law of the land.

  2. The Constitution ststes “To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States.”
Simply redraw the District lines to include areas with no “residents” and include the rest of the land in Maryland, where it came from in the first place.

  3. Why only 437 members? Why not 1776 members for the House? If 437 is more democratic than 435, then 1776 is even more democratic. The Constitutional limits is about 10,000 members, so we are no where near going ‘overboard’ with this democracy thing.

  4. I agree with everything Daniel W. Perry has said above. Thank God someone still reads and understands the Constitution!

  5. The Constitution is the law of the land. I a treaty violates the constitution then it is invalid.
