The Paul/Giuliani flare up near the top of the second hour will be the Paulroots victory point. The pundits will score it as a Rudy moment. Paul’s historically based response won’t have spin impact.
It could go either way. You never know with the American people. They may hear it and say, “The bastard said what?”
Or they may hear it and say, “Didn’t Reagan withdrawl from Beirut?”
It’s hard to tell. If his numbers bounce up in the next few polls, we’ll know why.
Certainly his 25% polling in the “text” poll was impressive. Even if it is just a text poll, that means over 10,000 people texted Ron Paul’s name in.
If he can mobilize in Nevada and New Hampshire, he has a shot.
