Unity08 is holding a state meeting in Florida on July 19 at 7 p.m, at the Boca Pointe Country Club in Palm Beach County. It is expected that the meeting will select state party officers. Then, Unity08 can file that list of its state party officers, and it will be a ballot-qualified party in Florida. The Florida contact person for Unity08 is Jake Jacobson of Boca Raton.
Is it just me or is Unity 08’s webpage incredibly flat? Beyond mailing lists, is there any way to actually get involved with the org?
Andrew, my name is Will Fogel, and I’m a member of the Founder’s Council of Unity08.
I’d like to think “incredibly flat” is a little harsh, but we know we need better web tools. That’s why we’re working hard to improve the website, especially by adding functionality that allows our members to better participate in and direct our efforts on every level.
SimpleNet co-founder Robert Bingham’s recent appointment as CEO of Unity08 underscores our understanding of the importance of the tech aspect of Unity08, and he has already begun making the improvements necessary to get us where we need to be from a tech standpoint.
