Michigan Senate Passes Presidential Primary Bill

On August 22, the Michigan Senate passed SB 624, which sets up a January 15 presidential primary for both major parties.

When will Iowa and New Hampshire now vote? My guess is September. In 2012 we’ve got to have some sort of regional primary system to avoid the next mess.
