Massachusetts Releases List of Dem, Rep Presidential Primary Candidates; Won’t Release Green list Until December 10

Massachusetts has four ballot-qualified parties: Democratic, Republican, Green-Rainbow, and Working Families. The Working Families Party isn’t holding a presidential primary.

The other three parties are holding a presidential primary. The Massachusetts Secretary of State has already released the list of Democratic and Republican primary candidates. The Green-Rainbow list won’t be released until December 10.

The Democratic candidates are: Biden, Clinton, Dodd, Edwards, Gravel, Kucinich, Obama, Richardson.

The Republican candidates are: Giuliani, Huckabee, Hunter, McCain, Paul, Romney, Tancredo, Thompson.

The Republican state chair did not include Alan Keyes in his recommendations to the Secretary of State, even though Keyes is in the Republican presidential primaries in most states.

  1. What do you mean, “The Republican state chair did not include Alan Keyes in his recommendations to the Secretary of State, even though Keyes is on the Republican presidential primaries in most states.”

Attention all Republicans: the big money controllers of the party don’t want the people to decide whom they want for president. With the technology we have today, we don’t need the media, nor those who control the party. I urge you to get involved through the Internet.

Start here: http://www.alankeyes.com and sign the pledge to tell just 5 others about it.

  2. Alan Keyes is being denied his rights just as others were in the South a hundred years ago. When will a person be taken by their speech and behavour in this country? Tis a sad day.

  3. Alan Keyes is disliked by his own party because of the way he reimbursed himself for routine expenses and was the only candidate to pay himself a salary from his own campaign funds. Essentially, he used donated funds meant for campaigning for his own income. Even when his campaign went in the red, he still pulled money out. Plus his comments to fellow Republican (Chaney) regarding his daughter, and even the way he treats his own daughter, is an embarrassment to the party.
Not a very loving or compassionate Christian.
The Republicans do not want more hypocrites to be associated with their efforts.

  4. God is no less in control at this time, in this place than he was when David slew Goliath, or when Joseph rose to power and saved the very people who sold him into slavery. Alan Keyes – God’s modern day Champion…keep watching, keep faith!

“The Republicans do not want more hypocrites to be associated with their efforts.”

    Phil Sawyer responds:

After almost seven complete years of the Bush-Cheney Administration, it has become very difficult to not consider the words Republicans and hypocrites as anything other than interchangeable. Principled people like Mr. Alan Keyes and Rep. Ron Paul need to get out of the GOP immediately!

  6. Some of the latest polls in Florida showed Alan Keyes ahead of three of the candidates you have included so I wonder what the real reason for his exclusion is.For Alan to poll better than Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul without the media time the others have had is remarkable and might suggest what or who the people realy want.

  7. JUST PUT EVERYONE ON THE BALLOT. THIS IS SUPOSSED TO BE A FREE COUNTRY,SO WHY NOT HAVE FREE ELECTIONS.

  8. The operative phrase being, ” … supposed to be a free country … ”

  9. Mr Winger,

I believe it’s a bit undemocratic to have a “free election” and exclude candidate choices. I know it won Kruschev re-election but is that the legacy we want?

If it’s hypocrites your worried about… then please refer to the Republican platform and then compare the the Republican Party platform ideals to the “chosen” Massachusetts candidates past and present positions.

Let’s stop this political censorship….include Alan Keyes

    Thanks
