Hurray ! Bob Barr just won the nomination for President from the Libertarian party. Watch out corrupt Duopoly the BARR has just been RAISED !
Will the LP unite behind this candidacy?
Yes Mary Mary quite contrary showed no class . Not only did she not support Barr when she lost but she did not even call for Unity. She is the one that looks bad if you ask me. You can be sure when Hillary finally realizes she lost she will support Obama.
Having said that, ofcourse the LP will unite , heck America will probably show great signs of support for the LP in this 2008 election.
A Barr/root ticket is much better than any other ticket out there.
I for one will not unite behind this anti-gay right-wing cretin who was a Republican until fairly recently. We helped defeat that miserable little man and booted him out of Congress, and to have taken him in and given him our nomination is a disaster of epic proportions. To have shunned a woman who has done legendary work year after year on behalf of our movement is depressing but not surprising. The LP has taken the celebrity bait – and I for one will not be surprised when, in a year or two, Bob Barr abandons the LP, goes back to the GOP, and bad-mouths us for the rest of his life.
