at this stage of the game polls are not worth a damn. THIRD PARTIES START TO DECLINE IN MID OCTOBER.
Ross Perot in 1992 didn’t decline in mid-October. Polls showed him at 7% at the beginning of October, but he got 18.9%.
Jesse Ventura didn’t decline in mid-October in the 1998 gubernatorial race. No poll ever showed him in any place other than third.
Why isn’t Nader listed on the poll? In almost every single poll showed it looks like Nader is beating Barr, but why do they not count him on this one?
I do not believe in that 3% tie for each, as I feel a lot of people are just saying Bob Barr eventhough they know nothing about him. His campaign funding has slowed down terribly too. I feel that the media is trying to cover up how big Nader is doing or how big he can do, by trying to use Bob Barr instead.
I don’t believe Nader will be on the ballot in Georgia. That may explain his exclusion.
Since you posted this in June, McCain’s lead has grown to a considerable seven-points. Not a close race anymore.
