The Daily Kos tracking poll for president, as of September 16, shows Obama 48%, McCain 44%, Nader 2%, Barr 2%, other 1%, undecided 3%. The poll breaks down the vote by various categories, such as age, sex, region, and party. Barr’s strongest showing by age category is 30-44 (4%), whereas Nader’s strongest showing by age category is older voters.
Given the blatant hostility shown by the staff of the Daily Kos towards Ralph Nader I would be very suspicious of any numbers coming from them or any polling agancy they commissioned.
Those are the most realistic numbers I have heard and they actually coincide with most polls today.
2% Barr 2% Nader 3% undecided 1% other adds up to 8% which historically is where the percentage for someone other then the Duopoly is.
Check out my article on this and give it a thumbs up

barr is not as well known as many of his supporters would like to believe.
i don’t believe 2% of voters know who barr is;
maybe in a few states, but not nationally
This is the poll (actually a poll of polls) I’ve been lending most credence to:

Since it now includes the Daily Kos tracking numbers, the fact that it agrees with those numbers is less interesting. But it agreed with them before, too.
