On September 20, Fox News ran this three-minute interview with Charles Jay, presidential candidate of the Boston Tea Party.

Fox News Carries Interview With Charles Jay — No Comments
I think Charles did a great job in the interview. Makes me want PA’s ballot access laws to change badly to get a guy like him on our ballot!
I agree!
I’m voting for Jay.
Charles Jay did a fine job in the interview. Fortunately there is a guy very similar to him on the PA ballot in Bob Barr. It took an enormous effort to get Barr on the ballot and the legal challenge to remove him is ongoing.
Mik,
Did you even listen to what Jay had to say about Barr in the interview?!
They mention that McKinney is a former Democrat but not that Barr is a former Republican. This is just as bad as the governor of Montana only mentioning Ron Paul. Also, why did they mention LaRiva at all? There are more important candidates. Alan Keyes is much more prominant.
Keyes is more prominent, but La Riva is on far more ballots than he is.
Charles Jay sounded very calm, rational and moderate. He certainly didn’t sound any more “Libertarian” than Bob Barr.
All the Pure, Principled, Anarchist and other assorted Libertarians should get back to work inside the LP and help to build a strong Principled voice for Liberty. But, while they are doing it, they need to sound rational.
Jay did a good job.
Yes, I agree completely!
All the Barr supporters should totally get behind Charles Jay.
He is an awesome candidate.
I think Bob Barr can be the next Ron Paul as he uses his Libertarian presidential race to return to Congress as a Republican, and continue his principled conservative record in that office.
As today’s active seniors are staying involved at the highest levels at ever older ages with the progress of medicine, in 20 years Barr can certainly run for President in the Republican primaries.
Did you hear how the Fox News guy stumbled when he introduced the socialist “liberation” party candidate. He started saying libertarian. I think that was probably meant to convey the idea that Fox News viewers are supposed to confound liberation socialism with libertarianism. Not that the unintelligent are necessarily going to, but ya never know.
I think Charles did a fine job. The LP had its first presidential candidate on the ballot in two states in 1972. The Boston Tea Party has our candidate on three ballots, and I’m still unclear whether Personal Choice Party did anything in Utah.
