What exactly are the charges against Paul Jacob? What would be the sentence?
It’s a shame he’s being prosecuted, he’s one of the best initiative advocates in the country.

Is Paul Jacobs currently in Jail? This sounds like it should be handled as a motion to set aside indictment and possible a removal to Federal Court under 28 USC 1331. He should not have to be held accountable (so to speak) for this!
