The Providence Journal, the biggest newspaper in Rhode Island, has this very interesting and fairly lengthy article (in the May 3 issue) about the Moderate Party and its federal lawsuit to strike down the law that makes it illegal for the party to start petitioning until next year. Thanks to Independent Political Report for the link.

According to Google, there seem to be two Moderate Parties: the United States Moderate and the American Moderate Party.
I find the name fascinating, and I wonder if anyone can tell me whether the Rhode Island Moderate Party is affiliated or connected in any way to either.
Thank you to any help.
NEVER MIND.
Looks as if the U.S. and the American are (now) the same thing.
Thank you.
