On August 30, Japan held an election for all 480 seats in the lower legislative body. The winning party, the Democratic Party of Japan, has won at least 270 seats and may have won 300, ousting the ruling Liberal Democratic Party. At least Japan has some P.R. seats — unlike the STONE AGE gerrymander regimes in the U.S.A. — ALL 50 State legislatures and the U.S.A. Congress.
Mexico has a better constitution than us. They combine P.R. with districts. The Mexican election in July saw the PRI go from 3rd place to 1st with a gain of 124 seats. While both PAN and the socialist party lost seats.
