Reform Party Renews Its California Status as a Party Trying to Re-Qualify

The Reform Party lost its spot on the California ballot in November 2002. California has a procedure whereby groups that wish to qualify (or re-qualify) for the ballot may ask elections officials to keep track of how many registered voters they have. But, every time the deadline comes for yet another election, and that group fails to qualify, it must renew that status. The California deadline for parties in 2010 has already passed and no new parties qualified. However, since then, the Reform Party has again renewed its status as a group that is attempting to qualify. It has approximately 25,000 registered members, but for 2012 will need, probably 95,000 to 100,000. The exact requirement won’t be known until November 2010.

  1. The RPUSA seems to be rebuilding itself with some really good people on the East Coast, including organizers from NJ-VA-MD-CT and a few other states.

The way that I see California regaining status is if they split the state into regions( 5 or so) and run either a congressional, legislator, or any “regionalized” candidate in those areas. From there, that candidate would actually just be an organizer looking to gain registered voters.

I do not believe that they will reach 70-80,000 in once chance, but they do not need to. Try to gain 10-15 the first shot and keep on building from there!

  2. Connecticut lost it’s only decent activist via death a few months ago. There is nothing of value there now!

On the West Coast there is a reason that the [predominately Bay Area/ Northern Valley] effort falls way short of numbers. John Blare, John Bambey, Valli Sharpe Geisler, and Citizens For A Better Veterans Home founder John Dennis Coffey have pretty much run off the established crew via deception and double talk.

  3. Yet more Deform Party Misinformation

[or: Forty Minutes of my life I will never see again]

RPUSA seems to be rebuilding itself with some really good people on the East Coast, including organizers from NJ-VA-MD-CT ……….

Hmmmmmmmmm. These four states have no postal address or land line listed. None of the election officials in the four states have any informantion on the ‘parties’.

John ‘Israel First’ Blare incurs no cost with the on going ‘Will Attempt To Qualify’ notices. With out a good public image and ‘boots on the ground’ these notices are meaningless. [And Blare, Bambey, Sharpe – Giesler, and John Dennis Coffey have neither!]

  4. On January 13, 2010, the AIP State Central Committee stopped a try to use the Reform Party electors to vote
for Chelene Nightingale for California Governor in the
American Independent Party’s June 8th primary, because
the AIP SCC closed the primary to only AIP electors.

John Baldwin was a big loser by the act of the SCC.
Baldwin is the Manager of Nightingale’s campaign.

Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Vice Chairman, American Independent Party

  5. I am getting all my friends to register AIP to vote for MARKHAM ROBINSON FOR GOV. Of course only if they wish to follow the AIP and its standards. :)Chelene Nighitngale has some very unethical people working for her campaign. She gives me the CREEPS!!!

Your friends are not going to register AIP for a religious kook and GOP agent like Markham, especially if I work to undermine your efforts.

  7. Looks like the california Election Forum do not want Chelene Nightingale at their candidates debate. Her manager got a Did-invite. What a pity..I am sure she had so much to offer…

  8. Wow, I didn’t realize I was dealing with a 2nd Grader in Special Ed here, lol.
