Loeber v Spargo is being argued Aug 6th at USCA2C in NYC — it focuses on the gerrymandered districting unconstitutionally per the NYS constitution. NYC is too large and the various former counties must be broken back apart — that will get Silver’s attention.
It was amazing to hear Silver on Northeast Public Radio talking about how he and Andrew Cuomo will work together to reform Albany. Amazing.
Lipp got only 165 of the required 351 names. She was a placeholder candidate. Must not have tried too hard.
I’m sure that a 3rd party or independent candidate would need more than 351 signitures.
