On September 1, the Farid Khavari independent gubernatorial campaign announced that Khavari’s running mate in the Florida race will be Darcy Richardson. See the campaign’s press release at IndependentPoliticalReport.
The campaign web page is here (www.khavariforgovernor.com). The ballot for the Florida gubernatorial race will include eight choices, but the Khavari-Richardson ticket probably has the strongest campaign, apart from the two major party tickets. Another independent candidate for Florida Governor is Daniel Imperato, who sought the Libertarian presidential nomination in 2008.
Imperato interviewed Billy Kogut and Karl Behm as possible Lt. Gov. candidates this week.
He also sought the Constitution Party nomination for president.
You are talking about Imperato, not Richardson. I met him (Imperato) at our national convention. I think he sought everybody’s nomination in 2008.
And now he is back. What a shocker!
Imperato also sought the Green Party nomination.
Imperato attended the national Green Party meeting in 2007 in Reading, Penn..and spoke to the Green Party delegates along with 8 other Green Party presidential candidates that had already declared in 2007 for 2008.
Imperato is running on a Green platform for High Speed Rail state and nationwide. Imperato advocates Green Jobs in solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro power…
He’s an Independent Green.
Whether an Independent Green or an Independent Republican, I most likely could not support Mr. Richardson for Lt. Governor of Florida.
