Indiana Holds 3-Party U.S. Senate Debate

On October 11, Indiana’s three candidates for U.S. Senate debated each other.  The candidates are Republican incumbent Dan Coats, Democratic nominee Brad Ellsworth, and Libertarian Rebecca Sink-Burris.  The number of states holding inclusive debates for important statewide office this year is already better than in 2006.  Thanks to Craig Marolf for the news.

Indiana Holds 3-Party U.S. Senate Debate — 3 Comments

  1. Indiana has been very inclusive of smaller parties in debates this year. Beth Hayes has participated in several debates held for district 99 Indiana House of Representatives. Libertarians are always there as well.

  2. Was Miss Sink-Burris the LP candidate for senator in 1998? If she was, she did a pretty good job as a candidate against the D/R parties.
