The Independent American Party appears to have won four partisan races for county office in Nevada. The party re-elected the County Clerk/Recorder in Eureka County. It also elected the District Attorney of Esmerelda County, a County Commissioner in White Pine County, and the Public Administrator in Nye County. Thanks to Cody Quirk for this news. The Eureka County win was by only three votes, so that result is not yet certain.
Decent handful of state legislative wins for Independents and a few VT Progressives. Numbers not totally finalized yet.

Hell yeah! The IAP continues down the road to victory!
Another awesome fact- Scott Ashjian DIDN’T get 1% of the vote!
Now that false “tea Party” group will NOT have ballot access for 2012! Yay!
Congratulations to the IAP winners and the others who ran great races.
The Utah CP also elected a County Councilman in Morgan as well.
I congratulate the IAP on their local victories. I’m not suggesting we give up running candidates for President, Governor, and U.S. Senator, but we do need to put more effort on local candidates – especially in the small rural counties where a “one on one” election campaign by a 3rd party or Independent candidate has a much better chance of victory. A “Joe Apaio” type sheriff in even a small rural county can get the national media attention that can benefit the party in many ways.
Again, IAP, congratulations to you and keep up the good work.
Have to agree with AI- This will probably be discussed at the next state meeting.
BTW, I think the results for Jackie Berg’s race are final- Eureka county is really small in population, so 3 extra votes might be hard to challenge.
Go Nevada thats good news for the National Constitution Party.
