  1. How about P.R. in the U.S.A. ???

See the marching in the streets by the usual suspect special interest gangs in WI State on the news today.

Econ WAR — between NET tax payers versus NET tax getters — 6000 plus years and counting.

  2. Finally, I get to echo “Demo Rep”? How about P.R. in the U S A?
God, when will we stop calling out the splinter in the other guy’s eye, and start digging out the plank in our own? For f—‘s sake, I hope it’s soon.

  3. # 2 More like advanced gerrymander political brain cancer in the U.S.A. —- getting worse and worse since 4 July 1776.

Now with computerized gerrymander programs to have new gerrymander maps in nano-seconds after the census and past election data is dumped into a computer.

    P.R. and App.V.

  4. FairVote’s planning to push hard this year for more use of proportional Representation in the US.

My view right now is that I like 3-seated PR(not unlike what prevailed in IL from 1870-1980 and which Barack Obama tried to bring back there in 2001) for more local elections and two or three stage elections for less local elections.

Given the dominance of our two major parties, it seems that to push for electoral rules that challenge their domination of our polity is too much work. We needed electoral reform more than a hundred years ago…
