Fox News and the South Carolina Republican Party are jointly sponsoring a Republican presidential debate on Thursday, May 5. According to this story in The Hill, the debate sponsors will not let anyone into the debate who hasn’t filed as a candidate with the Federal Election Commission, and also paid the filing fee to be on the ballot in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary.
