Maryland State Board of Elections Will Re-Examine Libertarian and Green Party Petitions

On April 15, an attorney for the Maryland State Board of Elections said the Board will re-examine the petitions submitted last month by the Green Party and the Libertarian Party. The Board had said both petitions lacked enough valid signatures, and so the parties filed a lawsuit on April 11, arguing that the Board was disqualifying signatures that really are valid. 1. How soon before there are internet petitions with electronic signatures for the various stuff ??? —

    nominations for public offices

and then the more drastic stuff —
    const. amdts.
    laws
    recalls.
    — to totally panic the EVIL party hack gerrymander robots.

  2. A few months ago I remember warning that the LP didn’t have enough signatures.

Why didn’t theLP ballot drive managers go out and get more? Yeah, I remember their answer – too greedy and not professional enough … pay me more or I won’t go get the final sigs needed to succeed. Nice.

Don’t they have enough professional pride to make sure that they don’t fail? Can’t anyone count sigs anymore?

And why didn’t the Maryland LP try to run an ad campaign for their Gubernatorial candidate to win ballot status by getting 1% of the vote?

Doesn’t anyone have what it takes to at least try to be a real party?

    Come on LP. Get moving!
