On August 22, Jack Kimball, Republican Party state chair in New Hampshire, refused requests from Republican members of Congress that he resign. The latest calls for his resignation are because a few weeks ago he signed the petition to put the Libertarian Party on the ballot. According to this story, even some members of the Republican National Committee are opposed to Kimball for having signed the petition. There are other complaints about Kimball, however.
I read the NH Republican By Laws. He should leave that
State Central Committee.

If he leaves, I hope it’s over the other issues he has with them and not the Ridiculous furor over signing the Libertarian Party’s petition. Sheesh, we can’t even sign any petition we want to without fear of heavy backlash from Republocrats!!

Abolish them f***ing petitions!
Good for him. This Republican Chairman is obviously more pro-liberty than most Republicans. Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call for him and he’ll join the LP.
#5 Amen to that! Come join the LP, Jack. We’d be glad to have you and we’ll be a lot more hospitable than your party has been to you!
This last round of petitioning here in Virginia did reinforce just how idiotic the titanic parties are in trying to keep people from thinking for themselves and supporting actual electoral competition. In my personal observations it is mostly individuals claiming they are “Democrats” that refuse to sign for an independent.
If people say they won’t sign because they’re Democrats, then say back to them, “But then aren’t you for democracy?”
Or “That’s good, admitting you’ve got a problem is the first step toward recovery”.

Those Democrats should then be immediately presented the opportunity to sign up for “Democrats Against Democracy.”
