Criminal Trial Involving Mayor Bloomberg, Independence Party, and a Political Consultant, Ends with Conviction for the Consultant

On October 21, a New York city jury convicted John Haggerty of fraud. See this story. Haggerty had received over $1,000,000 from the New York Independence Party. He was supposed to use it to set up poll watching operatives in the November 2009 mayoral election. The Independence Party had received the money from Mayor Bloomberg. Haggerty will appeal.

  1. the next political shoe to drop tomorrow in Kings County NYSSC at 2:15 hearing regarding fixing the 2008 election including IPNY’s ballot line decision without the grace of an OTB primary selection instead of ineligible McCain w-p authorization designation, all without a primary and inclusion of namesake non-affiliated voters of NYS.

  2. remember, these are the guys who sent Frank MacKay to Sacramento with a $500 check for John Blare, via John Bambey. with in weeks MacKay was Reform Party USA CEO, a non existent position.
