On November 11, World Net Daily carried this column by Tom Tancredo, explaining why the National Popular Vote Plan idea is beneficial to the United States and beneficial to conservatives. It will be interesting to see if his opinion sways the Constitution Party toward support for the plan. As most readers will remember, Tancredo was the Constitution Party’s gubernatorial nominee in Colorado in 2010, as well as a former Republican U.S. House member.
I doubt it as he has gone back to the GOP.
NO uniform definition of Elector in the NPV SCHEME from Hell.
How many children, felons, mentally ill and foreigners will be voting for a usual suspect Prez/VP in the usual suspect States/DC — IF the NPV SCHEME from Hell somehow takes effect.
SCOTUS awaits.
Tancredo has about as much gravitas in the CP now as Alan Keyes. http://constitutionparty.com/news.php?aid=1395
Demo,
You appear to be misinformed. The National Popular Vote plan does nothing to change the definition of an elector. Parties will still designate electors, just as they do now.
I wonder if he would support it in 1940.

# 4 Electors in most States are defined in the State constitutions — to NOT allow the robot party hack gerrymander district monsters to play games with such definitions.
IF the NPV scheme from Hell somehow takes effect, then the usual suspect regimes will try to have a special definition of Elector for voting in Prez/VP elections —
i.e. add those children, felons, mentally ill and even foreign folks to vote for a usual suspect Prez/VP pair.
Due to the SCOTUS morons and the worse media MORONS the U.S.A. has been in a death spiral since 1929 regarding having an all powerful Prez — to solve ALL social-economic problems via executive orders — i.e. TYRANT orders — think Stalin and Hitler.
