  1. Your sentence should read “contributing to the Arizona initiative that would reform the primary system in that state by replacing the partisan primary with a Top 2 Open Primary.”

    “impose” implies an outside force, but no such force exists when an initiative is used.

  2. #1, “reform”, as an adjective for the top-two system, was removed from the California voters pamphlet and the ballot by the California State Court of Appeals in 2010. The opinion said “reform” implies improvement.

    Any sort of imposed stuff — by the points of Union Army bayonets — after the imposed stuff in April 1861 — i.e. Confeds shelling Fort Sumter ??? Duh.
