South Carolina Says Americans Elect Petition is Valid

  2. Richard, the South Carolina Election Commission does not list Americans Elect as a ballot qualified political party. Could any of the candidates who sought the Democratic or Republican nominations seek to run with Americans Elect?

  3. The person who answers the phone at the South Carolina Election Commission told me the letter was being sent to Americans Elect that very day, saying that Americans Elect’s petition is valid. Maybe the Election Commission is just slow to revise its web page.
