No challenges have been filed to any New York state presidential petitions. Such petitions were filed by the Libertarian Party, the Constitution Party, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
The Green Party didn’t need to petition because it is ballot-qualified.
That’s hilarious…and good news as well. I grew up in the Democratic-Socialist Republic of NY and isn’t it amazing of all the states that have high hurdles for third parties to jump over, NY State turns out not to be too bad…..?
Granted, the D’s have a lock on the state, but at least the citizens can vote for other parties!
Oklahoma should follow suit…….since the R’s have that state locked down, usually 65-35 every four years…..
So Justice Party and Peace and Freedom didn’t attempt?
Are Rocky and Roseanne going to fight it out for the Independence line or are they leaning Romney?
The Independence Party will almost certainly nominate President Obama. If it doesn’t, it will almost certainly nominate Mitt Romney. The leaders of the state Independence Party are no longer interested in being involved with independent presidential candidates or the presidential candidates of minor parties.

What about “Socialist Party USA” — Stewart Alexander**/Jesus Alejandro Mendoza**.
They filed petitions for Prez in NY, too.
