The Alabama and Kentucky deadlines for independent and unqualified party presidential candidates was September 7. In each state, three petitions were submitted. In Alabama they were petitions for Virgil Goode, Gary Johnson, and Jill Stein. In Kentucky they were for Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, and Randall Terry.
Goode did not even turn the petitions in?

They each need 1000 – the number posted is at the right.
#3 when did you make that decision?
Mr. McHugh – this means none of them made it in Rhode Island?
# 10 – No, this means that the counting continues and it looks like all Libertarians, Greens and Constitutions will probably be ok.
Thanks – thought those were final numbers
The Constitution Party is running out of ballots. First, Pennsylvania, now Kentucky. They had the nominee for president on since 1992 and the party’s founding. This is a first. Do you believe Terry might be a substitute?
When will we know if Goode made it on in Alabama?
It will be hard for me to vote for Romney even as a protest candidate.
I would urge everyone who wants to cast a protest vote to NOT vote for either Romney or Obama. They are both the political establishment and voting for either of them says that you are OK with the political establishment.
I concur with Andy totally.
