The Vermont Secretary of State’s office has ruled that Jill Stein, Green Party presidential nominee, will not be on the Vermont ballot. The office ruled that the court victory won by Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party only applies to Anderson, and the principles set forth in that decision will not be extended to other presidential candidates who were in a similar situation.
Very unfortunate. The Vermont ballot access rules are prohibitive and wrong.
This is a bad turn of events for Stein, who would have had a position of considerable strength among progressive VT voters.
This decision is complete BS.
Sue the charlatans!
Speaking of Stein, what is her status in North Carolina, and who are the other alternative presidential candidates that will appear on that state’s ballot?
#5, e-mail me at richardwinger@yahoo.com, or phone me at 415-922-9779, to talk about that, if you wish.
VT has easy access as long as the party is organized

PLEASE !
More than any state, Vermonters can vote who they would most like to have for President.
Vermont’s 3 Electoral College Votes will be cast for Obama.
But every Vermont voter can write-in the name of Dr. Jill Stein, thanks to Vermont’s great education system.
WRITE-IN Dr. Jill Stein and give the finger to this inanity.
Yes, electoral inanity.
Stewart Alexander will be on that ballot with the Liberty Union Party, instead of Socialist Party USA.
The Green Party seems to have hit some bumps in the road at the last stretch.
#10 – I think Liberty Union filed their paperwork too late, and won’t have a candidate on this year.
