On October 11, the Sixth Circuit struck down an Ohio law that relates to provisional ballots. Ohio has many polling stations that include multiple precincts voting in the same building. Ohio law says that if a voter casts a provisional ballot in the right building but at the wrong table (each precinct has its own table) due to poll worker error, the vote is void. The decision says that restriction on counting that particular kind of vote is unconstitutional. The case is Service Employees International Union v Husted. This issue may seem obscure, but the principle is important, and represents another instance in which an important court has ruled that election officials must treat each voter equally. Thanks to Rick Hasen for the news.

I am on Ohioan. My county changed all of their precincts this year, tons of people are going to be casting ballots at the wrongs places out of confusion. This ruling is huge!
ALL snail mail ballots NOW.
Oregon continues to survive with ASNB.
As usual — a MAJOR FELONY to be registered and/or actually voting if NOT qualified.

How many New Age MORONS are working as New Age poll workers ???
The MORONS have NO list of registered voters in THEIR precinct ???
NO checking of the registered voters list when a person shows up claiming to reside in the precinct ???
TOTAL moronity — par for the course in the New Age of more and more STUPID people.
It’s an understatement to say multiple precincts can be in the same building. I live in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and my polling place typically has 4 to 5 precincts IN THE SAME ROOM (a middle school gym).
Just to clarify: Each precinct has its own separate table, but they are ALL in the same room.
#4-5 Do The MORON poll workers check a list of registered voters in THEIR precinct BEFORE giving any ballots to ANY body ???
STONE AGE EVIL MORON stuff in EVIL Ohio ??? Duh.
