According to this story, C-SPAN may cover the Free & Equal presidential debate set for October 23. The story also says that Al Jazeera will carry it.
Those in the Chicago area might want to attend in person. Tickets are $25. See here for how to reserve.
Here is how to contact C-SPANhttp: //www.c-span.org/About/Contact-C-SPAN/ and request that they broadcast the debate.
That didn’t format well. Here’s the link again:

It is just to bad that the Commission on Presidential Debates fears so much the American people hearing ideas from 3rd Parties that they have decided to exempt 3rd Party candidates from the Nationally Televised Debates.
The Commission on Presidential debates is made up solely of Republicans and Democrats, and it is they who make up the rules about who can be in the Debates.
Why does the Commission on Presidential Debates fear allowing 3rd Party Presidential Candidates into the debates?
Do they fear that the American people might like the ideas or from the 3rd Party Presidential candidates, and then the Republicans and Democrats would lose their Power Base and the Financial Backing that they use to Control the outcome of Primary and General Elections, Control which they have over the American people.
How else could they Justify their denial of 3rd Party Presidential Nominees into the Nationally Televised Presidential Debates. I would like to see the Commission on Presidential Debates made up of equal numbers of Republican Party members, Democratic Party members, Libertarian Party members, Green Party members, Constitution Party members, and even Communist Party U.S.A members.
That way the American voters actually have a true choice in who they like, and would like to elect.
As it stands today, the American voters only have the choice that the Commission on Presidentiual Debates gives them, which is the choice of 2 candidates out of the 6 Political Parties we have here in the United States of America. This to me is not much of a choice for the American people.
