Great job Richard. Thank you for helping promote the alternative debates. Our minor party votes are like gold.
Enjoyed it, congrats.
Good show, my friend! If there were a third party hall of fame, Richard Winger would be its equivelent to Babe Ruth or the Beatles!
Nice job. I voted for Gary Johnson this week and while the third parties have little money or media behind them every vote for a third party person is one more voter who isn’t brainwashed into the belief that they are wasting their vote.
Robomony…Richard Winger’s Bob Shieffer moment. :))
#Five minutes before the interview was to start, while I was sitting in the TV studio, my cell phone rang and I was told that Judge Curtis Karnow had again imposed the $243,500 attorneys fees on me and my five friends who are plaintiffs in Field v Bowen, the California case that challenged the write-in counting restriction and the ban on the word “independent” on the ballot for independent candidates. This was his tentative decision, which he confirmed the next day. So I had to do the interview with that bad news ringing in my head. The good news is that on October 26, one of the largest law firms in the nation, Covington and Burling, entered the case for the State Court of Appeals. Covington and Burling will represent us pro bono. We certainly thank Covington and Burling.
I have much gratitude and respect for Covington and Burling for representing Richard and his friends. Best wishes for a successful ruling.
Good interview.
