  1. I wish I didn’t have to sign up for the Tribune’s online membership in order to read it; I’m already signed up for too many things on the internet for my own good in this day and age, I think…
    Still, if the Chicago Tribune’s publishing such an article, so long as it included the plight of minor parties it is a step in the right direction.

  2. It’s not really about minor parties. It’s about laws that bedevil anyone who runs for office, especially if they are newcomers to running for office. The insiders know how to navigate the fussbudget rules, but others don’t.

    Eventually, one of these straws will break the camel’s back and cause me to delete my Facebook account altogether.
